I am sorry that you are having this much trouble with your notebook.
I am sending the HP Pavilion g6-2249wm Notebook PC Product Specifications, it will let you know what came with this computer. I also want you to try and open the HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide as it is a PDF. If this opens then we know that you have Adobe installed and that something else is causing the issue. If you cannot open it, then download and install Adobe Reader from my previous post and then try running your audio disks.
I am also sending this document for Software Recovery Options (Windows 8) that explains how to do the recovery.
