Re: Probook 450 G1 (core-i5) Fingerprint reader problem

Hi

My new Probook 450 G1 (core-i5) Fingerprint reader is not working in win7-64bit. The problem is that there is a "Validity..." software on the laptop's drivers DVD and it says the fingerprint reader is not awailable or configured properly but when I remove the original hp fingerprint reader driver and let windows to find a driver for it, the "Validity..." software works but it hangs on the "fingerprint enrolling" step.

Both drivers (hp's and win7's) seems fine in the "device manager" but non of them seems to be working with the "Validity..." software, can any one tell me what is the problem?

Do I have to use the "simple pass" software insted of the "Validity..." software?
