Hi,
I would recommend booting in uefi mode ( rather than the traditional bios mode ) as it generally gives faster boot times.
Note: If you wish to boot Windows 8 in uefi mode, the Hard Drive must be formatted with a guid partition table ( GPT ) and you need to choose the CDROM ( uefi ) option from the boot manager menu ( f9 ) when starting the installation.
